PT KLIRING BERJANGKA INDONESIA

Initially the company was called PT Kliring dan Jaminan Bursa Komoditi (KJBK) (Persero) which was founded on August 25 1984, with the business service of registering the physical markets for commodities such as rubber, coffee and textile. On June 18 2001, the company name changed to PT Kliring Berjangka Indonesia (Persero) or better known as PT KBI (Persero), in accordance with approval from the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia No.C-02157ht.01.04.2001. The temporary business license for operating the Futures Clearing House is in accordance with letter No.01/VII/2000 dated 14 July 2000 and for the Company's operations as a Futures Clearing House on 15 December 2000, the futures contracts that are cleared and whose settlement is guaranteed are CPO, Coffee and Olein. 

1984

PT Kliring Berjangka Indonesia (Persero) used to be named as PT Kliring dan Jaminan Bursa Komoditi (KJBK) was founded on August 25 1984 and at the beginning of its establishment carried out registration services for the physical market for rubber, coffee and textile commodities.

2000

On July 14, 2000 KJBK obtained temporary operating business permit Futures Clearing House.

2001

On November 11, 2003 KJBK expanded its company services which can also provide clearing & guarantee settlement for exchange/commodity market transactions (physical) & warehouse receipt systems.

2003

KJBK Changed its name to PT Kliring Berjangka Indonesia (Persero) and obtained a definitive business license as a Futures Clearing Institution from Bapebbti.

2004

On 18 October, 2004 Bappebti has issued Provisions for Organizing Auction Markets with Immediate Physical Delivery (Spot) & Later Delivery (Forward) of Agro Commodities.

2009

PT Kliring Berjangka Indonesia (Persero) obtained definitive permission as a Warehouse Receipt Registration Center in accordance with SK Bappebti No.03/BAPPEBTI/Kep-SRG/SP/PUSREG/6/2009

2010

PT Kliring Berjangka Indonesia (Persero) received approval as a Physical Commodity Market Clearing and Guarantee Institution in accordance with SK BAPPEBTI No. 14/BAPPEBTI/PER-PL/10/2010 dated 15 October 2010 for Auction Market Clearing and Guarantee Institution with Forward Delivery.

2019

PT Kliring Berjangka Indonesia (Persero) obtained approval as a Futures Clearing Institution to carry out clearing activities and guarantee transaction settlement in the physical market for pure tin bullion in accordance with SK BAPPEBTI No 01/BAPPEBTI/SP-KBPF/8/2019 dated 6th August 2019.

2020

PT Kliring Berjangka Indonesia (Persero) obtained approval as a Futures Clearing Institution to carry out clearing activities and guarantee transaction settlement in the physical gold market in accordance with SK BAPPEBTI No. 01/BAPPEBTI/SP-KBPF/11/2020 dated 11th November 2020.

2022

In 27 June 2022 based on PP RI No. 7th 2022, PT Kliring Berjangka Indonesia (Persero), which changed its name to PT Kliring Berjangka Indonesia, has officially joined Danareksa Holding with the participation of Indonesian State Capital while continuing to carry out its roles and functions in accordance with laws and other regulations.

2023

PT Kliring Berjangka Indonesia (Persero) obtained approval as a Futures Clearing Institution to carry out clearing activities and guarantee transaction settlement in the physical market: Crypto digital asset.
